Peace Studies Journal
a project of the Central New York Peace Studies Consortium
Welcome to the Peace Studies Journal

The Peace Studies Journal founded in 2007 out of the initiative of the Central New York Regional Peace Studies Consortium is an international online interdisciplinary peer-reviewed scholarly journal with the goal of promoting critical scholarly work on the areas of peace, nonviolence, alternatives to violence, and social justice. While most articles will be submitted from the Central New York Regional Peace Studies Consortium, unsolicited articles are accepted. We encourage and actively pursue a diversity of viewpoints of contributors from activism to academics. We have created the journal for the purpose of facilitating communication between the many diverse perspectives on social change, nonviolence, social justice, and peace. Thus, we especially encourage submissions that seek to create new syntheses between differing disputing parties and to explore paradigms not currently examined.
